The Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Nevşehir Industrialists and Businesspeople Association (NESİAD), Murat Yavuz, together with committee member Sedat Doğan, hosted Ramazan Bingöl, President of the Association of All Restaurants and Tourism Professionals (TURES).
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the Cappadocia Culture Route Festival as well as the region’s food and beverage sector. Bingöl emphasized that he is fully committed to providing every possible form of support to ensure Cappadocia receives the recognition it truly deserves.
In his statement, Bingöl said, “With its unique landscape and cultural richness, Cappadocia holds far greater potential in the tourism sector. To unlock this potential and promote the region to wider audiences, we at TURES are ready to offer our full support.” He also invited NESİAD to Istanbul, expressing his willingness to contribute enthusiastically to Cappadocia’s promotion through unity and collaboration.

The collaboration between Turquaz Balloon and the digital media platform Cercle resulted in one of the most widely viewed productions ever filmed in Cappadocia. The recording became the second most-watched video on YouTube under the search term “Cappadocia,” marking a significant milestone for the region’s global visibility.
Cappadocia reached millions of viewers worldwide in 2020 through this international project, which showcased the region’s breathtaking landscapes from a completely new perspective. The flight, which lasted approximately one hour and thirty minutes, was piloted by Murat Yavuz. The performance was streamed live to thousands of viewers across the world simultaneously, and the video later surpassed 37 million views on YouTube, firmly establishing itself as one of the most iconic aerial recordings of the region.
At a time when global tourism had nearly come to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project played a crucial role in reviving interest in Cappadocia. It not only drew international attention back to the region but also contributed significantly to the recovery and revitalization of local tourism.
Following the broadcast, the Cercle team released behind-the-scenes footage, expressing their admiration for Cappadocia’s natural beauty and emphasizing the uniqueness of the project. They highlighted that the production was a world first, and extended their appreciation to the Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the people of Cappadocia, and everyone who contributed to its success.
